Five kids feared dead in Goa school bus mishap

At least five children were feared killed and several others were trapped when a school bus in which they were travelling fell into a river in North Goa on today.

Reports said the bus was carrying 15 children out of which three have been rescued so far.

The school bus plunged into the Kalvi river at Aldona village.

The incident took place this morning when the driver lost control over the vehicle and it fell into the river.

A major rescue operation is underway and fire brigade as well as police divers have been rushed to the spot.

The driver and conductor are safe as they jumped out when they lost control.
